Little Red Caboose
For my birthday lunch, we decided to head over to Winston's best hot dog place...

Told ya.

I know this restaurant has been around since I was a kid.
So, if you haven't guessed by the name, the Little Red Caboose is actually a converted Caboose made into a hot dog joint. See?

Pops is up there placing his order, while Bobby waits patiently for his personal side-show photographer to soak up the ketchup-colored metal box we'll be ordering our next meal from.

So obviously, we were not there during these hours.
The dining room is a perpendicularly-placed train car that has been converted into a dining room. Today is the day of obviousness, as you can see.

In case of fire, the fireman can climb up this ladder onto the grease-splattered roof, near the port-holed door that doubles as a refridgerator and employee entrance. ;-)

Either that hotgod made me silly, or that 25 cents is warbly.

Mmmmm... shakes.

My dad is always making a statement.
We sat down and ate, and yes, they were great dogs. All 4 of them. No, I didn't eat all four - we had 4 between the 3 of us.

So yeah, it was a happy day. I totally enjoyed the calmness and relaxation of it all. No birthday cake, no ice cream - no, wait. We stopped at Cold Stone, so I did have ice cream. Mmm... CandyLand - Cake Batter ice cream with KitKat, Hershey, and M&Ms. Mmmmmmm... ice cream. The weekend weather cooperated, and it was perdy out.
*sigh*
I wish all my birthdays could be this nice.
