Baker's Dozen

My second family and I got together last week to do some serious, hard core homemaking. There was jelly to be made, bread to be baked, biscuits to be eaten, and had to be done simultaneously. Well, almost. First we had to eat the zucchini bread I made the night before.





We made 13 1/2 pints of jelly, 4 loaves of bread, just enough biscuits and jelly to feed us
(Melting Pot style) and started thinking about applesauce.
Time to start planting my fall garden, isn't it?
