Thank you for choosing Mandie's Transport. The airport is the next stop. All those heading out of state or country can now retreive your luggage.

Flights are now boarding to Pompei. Ron, grab your bag. And don't forget your shirt!

Laurie, you're headed to Charlottesville, VA, right? Ever been by Monticello? I bet it's gorgeous this time of year!

Ya know, mccaskil, I've never been to Charleston, SC. I've heard they have some deadly gardens and great food there. Bring me back some, okay? Oh, the uh, food, that is. No oleander, please.

Okay, next stop is the train station. I know a few of you are just boppin' around the state, looking for someplace else to be. I've got a few great places you need to try.

Susan has found a place called Hookah Joe's in Asheville - wanna smoke? I'll pass, but bring me back a souvenir.

Jude has some food for thought and an article about the night train from India. That's a long train, isn't it?

David is headed to Charlotte, to visit the historic district. But first, we have to get through Greensboro, and High Point road is a really scary part of town!

Okay, that's it for those leaving - I'm taking the rest of you home now.

Billy is just going to take his duck and walk. Just don't walk on High Point Road, okay?

Pratie is going to sit at home and watch old Hulk reruns. That Bill Bixby is a cute one, ain't he?

Anonymoses is going to the movies, except it isn't quite in production yet, so he'll be first in line.

Waterfall is going to set down with a few good books. Remember Beowulf? And if you're already asleep, how about her dream of Bach?

Bora is enjoying his time at home without being consumed by his obsessions.

Erin paints word-pictures of hummingbirds and moonflowers.

Speaking of hummingbirds, I'm going home to take some pictures of them. And then, I'm going to take a walk in the woods.

And last but not least, on your way back today, visit Maximilian and ponder why the jihad is such a threat to our way of life.

Good week, ya'll! 'Til next time!

What a beautiful and excellent salad of word and image! Well worth the wait!

I love those images that you made or found. One of them -- the one that goes with David Wharton -- looks exactly like a place I once lived on 8th Street and Hawthorne...here in Charlotte.

Would that be the same place by chance?

Kudos on a job well done!

Mandie, you're the cat's meow!

Both of your taverns that I've looked at have been visual feasts. Thank you!
