I'm FINISHED!
Took this photo this morning to show off the final work of my knitting olympics challenge. It's a very dainty little scarf, knit on size 11 needles with Blush Heather Woolease. The scarf itself measures about 7 foot long, plus the fringe. It's the first project I've completed that I'm keeping for myself. YAY!
I finally finished it somewhere near Grandfather Mountain last night, on the way back from Swannannoa, where we had the ASAP Marketing Conference. I knit in the dark on the way there at 6 AM yesterday morning, and was knitting in the dark last night at 7:30 PM to finish. The fringe are not all the same length (which is odd, considering I CUT them the same size), but it contains NO mistakes. Everytime I reached my limit of three, I'd rip out to the first one and start again.
I'm completely exhausted. Between having a HUGE mail day on Friday, on a new route, then the A/C clutch going out on the last street, to figuring out how I was getting to my sister's since my truck was in Wilkesboro with my hubby, and having about 4 hours sleep before an all day conference that we had to drive 3 hours to get to, and I had to drive another 2 hours home, whilst picking up my hubby *huge breath*, it made me tired. So now, I need to start and finish the power point for church, unpack all that stuff I had at my sisters' so I can get a shower and get dressed, walk the dog, eat some breakfast, and make the 30 minute drive to church in about an hour and a half. I know, I know... I'm going already. Just wanted to show off first. :-D
