Post 200
Okay, so that's not such a huge number, especially considering how long I've been blogging, but it's not a small number, either. YAY 200!!
Random things happening this week:
- Today is Bobby's 31st birthday! Happy Birthday, Babe! The cake is awesome - and I made it! It's a Yellow Bundt cake, with chocolate/peanut butter icing. Mmmmm. Must. Wait. On. Mom. To. Get. Home. Before. Eating. *repeats*
- Tomorrow is my first beekeeping class in Greensboro, and I'm totally stoked.
- I'm working all day Friday, which was unexpected, but I'll take the work I can get.
- I will probably have another job to take on by Friday. *crosses fingers*
- I've got a great new client in Alleghany county that is entrusting his webdesign to yours truly! (updates as they happen on my design page)
- It appears that Bobby, Sara, and I will be able to move a little quicker than we had hoped! YAY!
- Looks like I'll be trying the Knitting Olympics after all, in my own Special Olympics kind of way... I'll be knitting my second scarf, and my first after learning how to purl. I always spell that Perl. Guess that's the generation gap... So, anyway, I've got some Woolease in light Heather, and two number 11 bamboo needles, and I can alternate between garder and stocking stitches. Hope that's all I need. Luckily, I have a built-in support system - the groupies I call everytime I misstitch - Knitink. I'll be posting updates there and on my flickr.
- I'm really impressed about the new species found in New Guinea. Now the hard part will be keeping people out of the previously unexplored territory. I'm forseeing lots of development in that area in the near future. Sad.
- Jewel's new music video has been released... Goodbye Alice In Wonderland. It's simple. It's Jewel. It can't get any better. I'm anxiously awaiting the new album in May. (May 2nd, to be exact. Happy late birthday to me.)
- I can finally get my cat fixed - and for free, thanks to the Forsyth Humane Society! Now to keep her unpregnated until then... hmm....
- Friday night is the Slow Food Piedmont Triad potluck in Old Salem. Another exciting event I can't wait for!
- Note to self: still need to update church powerpoints, upload pics, and forge the Tavern before Sunday! *whispers* Get to work!
