Oh, Blast!
I was going to show you a picture of my poncho thus far, but Bobby took my camera to work. Blast!
Today beist the Ides of March - and though it is a beautiful day, indeed, the cold winds blow from the North as from the mouth of Old Man Winter himself. We needs not be reminded that Spring is merely days away, nay, the flowers are blooming and the sap veining through the trees as if it were May.
Greensboro bloggers meetup is tonight, and me thinks I'll go. Beekeeping meeting last night was fabulous, but we didn't get the bees that were mentioned on the flyer. The speaker was great - her name was Dr. Fahrbach, who is currently doing research on the Mushroom Bodies of the worker bee brain at Wake Forest - and can prove that with experience in the outside world, the mushroom bodies actually increase in size and the nerves become increasingly complex. In layman's terms, with experience and age, the brain grows, and the ability to remember and apply are increased, not decreased as we believe in the human realm.
Ok, enough with the gibber jabber - I've got work to do at the church, and I have to bathe first.
