Photo 19,010
Today is the one year anniversary of my Olympus C-8080, and today I took some of the same shots I did 365 days ago, to see if my photography had improved. And it has.
Yellow bells, daffodils, hyacinths, cherry trees, and pear trees are all in full bloom here - everywhere you go, the colors are splattered all over the canvas of dead, brown earth. Spring officially begins on Tuesday, but the signs are everywhere. My mesclun, sage, and basil have all graduated from their peat moss, and are now awaiting april in their egg cartons. *alarmed look* What?! I had to use the tray again, and that's what was available at the time. The broccoli, tomatoes, and cucumbers need their turn in the tray, too.
Work has been absolutely crazy - but I did get to take a break with my bestest girls last night, and go ROLLER SKATING! Man! I forgot how much I L.U.V. to dance/skate/shuffle on my speed quads! Building 429 played a few songs, there were free doughnuts, and their CDs were on sale - so it was a GREAT night - especially with a $4 entry/rental fee. Only setback was the sheer volume of people on the floor - 531 in all. It was a riot, and my girls made it super fun.
This is the first photo I took with my camera. It doesn't seem like it's been a year already. Time marches on.
Oh! And HAPPY ST PATTY'S DAY TO ALL ME IRISHMEN out there! Find me Lucky Charms!
