Basketcase

To quote one of my favorite songs of the nanosecond:

"Do you have the time... to listen to me whine...
I think I'm one of those... melodramatic fools... neurotic to the bone, no doubt about it...
Sometimes I give myself the creeps... sometimes my mind plays tricks on me...
I think I'm crackin up... am I just paranoid?... "

Ah yes, old-school Green Day. Just nothin' like it.

Today was my next-to-last day at the post office until May, and although I'm exhausted, I'm quite relieved. I stretched the over-extended rubber bands that surround my child until they nearly popped today, and Logan was not happy. I was a bit afraid of losing the strength in my arms, to have the 30 pound mail tub come down on him. Alas, my fears today were unwarranted, but I can't (and am not) taking the chance again - past Saturday. Then, Bobby gets to take over at his post office, and I'm sticking to the desk jobs.

It froze last night, so luckily I had my onion sets inside, along with my tangerine, banana, and pomegranite trees. The inside is quite... green now.

If you're a crafty person in the Triad, please consider - nay, I require you to be - at the Harvest Bazaar I'm coordinating at my church on November 4th, from 8-3.

Our open house went really well, and I'm very grateful to those who turned up, and those who gave presents, too! It was really nice to see folks that I haven't seen a while...
