Stupid, stupid, stupid!

Snow day? No, too easy. Just as predicted, if the weatherman says there is snow, and school closes, it is guaranteed there will be no snow here in NC. Today was no exception. We got enough from 7-8 to say that there was white stuff falling, but it quickly stopped, then resumed later, only to change into plain old rain, and the snow that was barely hanging only quickly disappeared.


BAH HUMBUG to all of you who actually got to see a layer of it on the ground. *sticks tongue out and spittles onto your monitor*

Warmer Air Has Arrived With Southwesterly Winds Aloft. This Has Changed Snow To Rain Over Central North Carolina In The Late Morning Hours. Temperatures At The Surface Have Edged Upward To 32 Degrees Or Above At All Reporting Points. Some Light Icing Is Still Possible On Elevated Surfaces In The Northwest Piedmont. And Some Isolated Icy Patches May Linger Into The Evening Hours. Otherwise... The Threat Of Snow... Sleet... And Freezing Rain Has Now Subsided. "
