My first picture, visiting Brookberry the first time. The entrance from Meadowlark Dr. Rounding the first bend in the road. The old ‘farm house’. The 'farm house' which is no longer. These silos were enormous in person. I tried to capture that feeling in this picture. I never knew there were so many homes, let alone so many mailboxes. Lynn Byrd’s rental house. |See newspaper article on my news page.|

Looking toward the ‘goose pond’ and the ‘cow barn’. A glimpse of the ‘cow barn’ that sat in front of the ‘goose pond’. Inside the 'cow barn', which is no longer. The pin oak trees that line the road, with the office and the ‘spare barn’ in the background. Inside the ‘cow barn’. You can see the two lower rental houses through the trees, and a glimpse of Lynn’s on the far right. The ‘dairy barn’. Cute, cute cows beside the ‘dairy barn’. These cows were the most social animals I’ve ever met.

The cows and the silo side of the ‘dairy barn’. Looking into the bottoms from the ‘dairy barn’. Looking back at the ‘dairy barn’ from half-way down the hill. The office sign. The equipment barn and hay barn, which are no longer. A picture of the ‘big pond’ while the cows were still in the pasture. The cows taking a bath with the fish, and the turtles, and the birds…

Due to the magic of Java, when you click a thumbnail a full-sized version of the picture will expand! If you don't have IE4 (or better) - then the pictures will open in a new window, and you won't get the full benefit of the java!
