I have two fees that are standard:
Initial Set-up and Design: $100 - non-refundable
On-site photography (1 full day): $75 for businesses within 100 miles,
$100 for 100-150 miles, also non-refundable
My clients buy their domain name and/or hosting space directly through Yahoo! to ensure privacy. They have a superb small business plan that provides all the tools that your business will need to maintain your web presence for a very affordable price. Other hosting providers occasionally have better prices, but the quality is lacking. I'm positive you'll love Yahoo as much as I do.
Once we decide that a website is definitely in your marketing plan, I will draw up an initial invoice that gives a good indication of what my fees will be, based on our initial consultation. Once the plans are finalized, I draw up the final contract that we both sign which lists the services provided and the final price. At the signing, I request that half of the fees be paid as deposit, with the rest due upon completion of the contract terms.
